Band & Duo

KAT ORLANDO BAND

The Kat Orlando Band has been in various formations since 1983, where she brought the Motown Sound (thanks to the legendary Motown 25 special) to Denver, Colorado. Upon her return to Detroit she reformed the group several times (once after finishing her degree in design at CCS). You may have also seen her with Art-of Fact and Hidden Agenda Band. Kat's band, is a rocking funky group of top notch musicians, playing covers of Prince, Rick James, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Time, Bruno Mars. But wait! Then they play Jethro Tull, Blondie & Steve Miller! Quite the musical range!

The Band is:
Kat Orlando: vocals, sax, flute and harmonica

Larry Pinho: Guitar

Jim Pryor: Drums, Vocals

William Pope: Bass
KV Fowler: Keyboards, Vocals

The band has played various popular dance nightclubs around town. The group also showcases songs from her CDs for special shows. Look for these shows coming up soon.

KAT ORLANDO DUO

After joining Hidden Agenda in 2003, Kat and the band's founder, Larry Pinho, decided to take their musical relationship to the next level. They married in 2006. They stayed quite busy as band but soon realized a duo would be quite in demand. They were right. Larry and Kat have developed as powerful performing duo playing many popular venues in Michigan, Ohio and Florida. They are perfect for venues such as restaurants or places looking for smaller acts due to space or budget limitations.

The duo is Kat on vocals, sax, flute and harmonica and Larry Pinho on guitar and vocals. They play selections that include laid back dinner music to uptempo songs by your favorite artists. Whatever the type of music - it's a lot of fun !
